Did you know that election is this Saturday? Well it is. So since it election LS2 (Learning Space 2) were learning about Elections. Have a look on our site to see the challenges we were given. Our task was to create a DLO on a person who was a Prime Minister in the past. I chose Helen Clarke.
Kia ora San Kyaw,
ReplyDeleteI am Greanne, a student at Karoro School in the South Island of New Zealand. I like how your focus was on a relevant topic occurring in New Zealand. We had also done some work around the elections. We had to create our own party's, name, logo and slogan. I was included in the independence party. We went through the same process of voting as our parents do. Elections is an interesting topic that I would like to learn more about.
I think you used appropriate colours for your slides because labour uses the colour red in their posters and pamphlets. Your information about Helen Clark was interesting and new learning for me like what she has done for New Zealand. Including the link of the photo that you used was a good idea for it is not your original picture. Why did you choose Helen Clark? What is the most shocking fact you found out about Helen Clark?
Next time you should include a bibliography, which is where the links to where you got your information can be found. By including a bibliography we can go on the links and find even more new learning. It would be nice to see more information about Helen Clark. Also to see your point of view about where you agree or disagree that she was a great prime minister.
Kind regards
Greanne
