Buddy Reading by Daniel

Today room 3 and 4 came up stairs to LS2 for some buddy reading. Everyone from LS2 got a partner to work with. LS2's job was to read to our buddy and ask them some questions like: What is your favorite image and who is your favorite character. First I read Thor to my buddy. It was about Thor and how he was sent down to earth by his father. I am sure everyone had a great time reading with someone.

Buddy Reading with R3 and R4

On Friday our NE/Y1 students came to visit us in LS2 for our first buddy reading session. It was great to see how our Y7/8's brought the magic of reading alive for our youngest students. All of us are looking forward to doing this again next week.

Room 4/5 Easter Egg Hunt!

We had lots of fun this morning helping our Tuakana Teina class find the easter eggs that had been hidden for them by Room 5.

Tuakana Teina Time with R4

Today we had our tuakana teina time with R4. Room 4 are our gorgeous new entrants and have only been at school for four weeks. They are learning to read so today we read our buddies a story and then talked about the book with them. We had lots of fun and think R4 did a great job with their reading.
