To celebrate book week at PBS we all dressed up as our favourite characters from books we have read. During our special assembly we were visited by The White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, who brought us a letter from the Queen of Hearts. The Junior school had visitors from the Panmure Library and the Remuera Rotary Club; Constable Cyrus and Ms Sorrenson who came to read them stories. What a great way to bring the magic of books alive!

ReplyDeleteHello Panmure Bridge School.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Uncle Fern and I come from Room One.
I enjoyed seeing all the characters your school was for Book Day. How was it?
It’s cool that the White Rabbit came to visit you, with a letter from the Red Queen!
I remember last time Karoro School had Book Day, I dressed up as a fabulous pineapple.
My costume looked like a watermelon though, nothing like a pineapple. :D Nice how a lot of you have different favourite books. Not all the same. :) My favourite book is Wish For Wings.
Maybe you could check out my blog. :D
