LI: To work out the elapsed time


Today our group used the maths clocks to help us work out the answers to the elapsed time questions. Elapsed mean the time that has gone by.The thing that I like doing was playing the maths game that involved time.

Taonga Poems

LI: To write a poem to describe ancestors by using the literary devices of alliteration, onomatopoeia, metaphor, simile and rhyme. 

            

LS2 have been thinking about how literary devices and figurative language can paint a clear picture with words. To strengthen our connections to the learning we tapped into our culture and family connections.

Postive Attitiude: Liletina and Afatia

Our Year 7 and 8 students grow their leadership by working towards our Panmure Bridge School CARE badges. To get a badge, (there is one for each of our school values), they need to complete five tasks that show they have a strong connection to that value. The video below is a DLO that Liletina and Afatia made to show what having a positive attitude looks like. This is one of their tasks towards their Attitude badge.

Celebrating the 2019/20 Summer Learning Journey


Thank you to the Summer Learning Journey team who helped us celebrate our students who participated in the 2019/20 Summer Learning Journey. For the last 5 years Panmure Bridge School has been the top blogging school in the Manaiakalani cluster, a title we are very proud of. Huge congratulations to all our students who took part, especially Alex who was our top blogger, Victoria who placed second and Sakina who placed third. We are all very proud of you!
