Teagan and Jacob explain the colour wheel
Teagan and Jacob made a Google presentation on colours. These are the things you can find out on, primary colours, secondary colours, cool/warm colours, hue, complimentary colours and tints and shades. This activity followed on from our 'Starry Night' collaborative challenge.
Room 9 were set a collaborative challenge. To be successful they needed to use their maths knowledge to help them create an enlarged reproduction of Van Gogh's 'Starry Night'.
The image above shows what the real painting looks like.
I think both teams successfully completed their collaborative challenge and Room 9 has a fabulous wall display as well.
Super Finn Review by Jacob
This is Jacob's outside brochure of the book, Super Finn. It is a really great book. The author is Leonie Agnew.
This is his inside brochure of the book, Super Finn. There is a lot of interesting words and drama. There are 2 main characters. One always gets in trouble and the other one is a good boy.
Crown Park Review by Asmah
Asmah created this brochure after reading the book Crown Park by Des Hunt. She enjoyed this story and found a great list of powerful words that she can use in her own writing.
